The obvious cons here are that you can’t replace the battery after a year when the battery performance will be degraded, can’t pull the battery out to reboot your device when/if it freezes and etc.

This isn’t a really a huge issue, but it’s worth noting that the Oppo N1 doesn’t have a removable battery. While the Oppo comes in 16GB (599$) and 32GB (649$) without a MicroSD Card slot. In fact the Note 3 even has internal storage options upto 64GB (total of 128GB). This is starting be a norm for most of the smartphones out there, but keeping in mind that this is a phablet, you have to remember that almost all the phablets are providing a MicroSD Card (expandable upto 64GB) including the Note 3, Xperia Z Ultra and HTC One Max. Limited storage options and lack of a MicroSD Card So basically it’s no where near the slimmest and the lightest phablet, but it shouldn’t be a deal breaker as the thickness and the weight of the device is reasonable. Also it weighs almost a quarter of a kilo, it’s 27% heavier than the Note 3 (5.7 inch display) and almost the same weight as the Xperia Ultra Z (6.4 inch display). It’s 9mm thick which isn’t that bad but when you consider that the Note 3 is almost 10% slimmer and the Xperia Z Ultra is almost 30% slimmer it’s kind of disappointing. Oppo N1 is essentially a phablet (5.9″ display), but these days phablets are getting extremely sleek and lightweight. One of the things you’ll be missing out on is 4k recording. But once again if your spending 600 dollars on a smartphone you’d expect it to have top-of-the-line specs. This phone comes with Snapdragon 600 clocked at 1.7 GHz with 2GB of RAM, now this is still high-end specs and it shouldn’t be a problem regarding general speed and responsiveness. Not only is LTE missing, but also Snapdragon 800 along with 3GB of RAM. This is a major disappointment considering the price. So if you’re spending 600$ you obviously expect your phone to have LTE, even if it’s not available/affordable in your country yet, you’re going to want your device to be future-proof. Oppo N1 is going to be launched internationally on the 10th of December for 599$. No LTE is a deal breaker for many people living in the US, UK and etc. Anyway, without any further ado, here’s 5 Pros and Cons of Oppo N1. After Oppo Find 5 placed the company on the international map, it looks like they may finally have a winner! While most smartphone manufacturer companies are busy suing each other over ridiculous patent infringement in the court, Oppo has been concentrating only on innovation and how to make their devices stand out. Oppo sticks to its promise “Return to innovation”, with the all new Oppo N1.
